Re-Emurgence

It's been a while but I'm still here. A lot tends to happen between breaks...and there's new thoughts to share...but I've already shared most of them with a handful of close friends already...in the specific way certain things should be. Annddddd there's just so much that's happened in the past few months that if I wanted to do it justice, this would be a crazy long post, and I don't have the energy for that right now...so...nope.

Maybe next time. Just saying hey for now.

Don't think too hard about it...

So I'm 21 now. Have been for...one week. Pretty much exactly. I barely notice. Though the opportunity to drink has occured several times since then, the only time I have was on my birthday when Steve took me to Outback. There are some people I just don't want to drink with. I think that's a good thing.

Recent thoughts:

* Don't be a hypocrite; if you give someone good advice, you're probably better off following it as well.

* Nothing new here, but recently this has become that much more real to me: really enjoy what you have when you have it. Really. Nothing lasts, but certain things last a lot shorter than you might expect.

* A dangerous woman is four times as dangerous to certain guys. Dangerous times two for being the opposite sex, and times two again if you like it dangerous...

* If you have pride, not pride issues, just normal pride, will you live a happier life fighting it or building on it? (serious question there...)

*In the end it doesn't matter too much how you arrive at a decision. It just matters that you decided. And unless it's one of those life or death decisions, you'll probly be okay...I think. Maybe?

Yeahhhhh...brief ventage here.

So I had two homework assignments due today that were assigned on Tuesday, one for each class I have with the same professor, so I had to get them both done within 48 hours. I did them. Woot. So then I show up to my first class today, and lo and behold, most people in that class were trying to rush finish the homework assignment for that class. None of them had the other class with that professor, so all of them had only one homework to do. I also worked seven hours at Safeway last night, and still got both homeworks done before I went to sleep.

...so really? My class didn't finish, and for some, even START the thing until they got to class and the teacher started lecturing?

I don't LIKE sounding condescending or anything, but seriously, my database class has to be full of morons.

...venting over.

Yeah I've Thought This for a While Now...

brother of

So we all know that, unbeknownst to Speed Racer, Racer X is secretly his long lost brother, who he thinks died in the crash that destroyed the Mach 4...

But did you know that...

= brother of  ????

Snake Oiler is actually Protoman, the older Brother of Megaman! No wonder he always gave Speed Racer so much trouble...he was f***ing Protoman.

Good LORD I'm tired. I don't want to be awake right now, but I'm gonna have to be up even EARLIER for work tomorrow, so this is practice for me...

I could vent more but fingers aren't coordinated enough yet...

Oh yeah...and for those who asked, Monday was actually just orientation at work, not a real first day. I spent about 4 to 5 hours sitting in front of a computer doing training programs and watching training videos...

REAL work starts tomorrow...addendum.

Now...bye.
